What would we do without him?

I really like this kid. A LOT. I really really love his real smile. He makes me laugh a thousand times a day. He is completely and totally NUTS and a lot of times that makes me feel like I am going NUTS. He makes disgusting noises and thinks he is the funniest thing ever....

He is awesome. My boys would love him.

I get the noises! I TOTALLY get the noises X3,like surround sound. They only really bother me in the car, when I’m trying to converse with the driver. Not a car ride goes by that I don’t have to yell, “STOP with the NOISES!”

Your talk about homeschooling is…I don’t think convicting is the right word. It definitely makes me consider it strongly. I know the day is coming. Simon got in trouble for the first time ever last week. For noises. He pointed his sandwich and made a gun noise. I almost wish they had pushed it more, especially the gun part,so I could watch Sean come unhinged on the public school system. 😀ReplyCancel

Sunday

I think the Lord gives Southerners days like this past Sunday so we will have the strength to make it through the long, cold winter. 😉 Sunday morning was a rough one for our family. It seems we were all fussing with each other about everything. It was all we could do to make it...

I will have to tell her Boom Boom what CB said about loving the beach even more than Disney. This is the way to his heart.ReplyCancel

Today has been perfection.

SNOW. The second snow day we have had in three weeks. The fourth snow we have had in the last 12 months. Most of you know that I have lived in South Carolina my entire life. Well, except for that short stint of time in Birmingham. But anyway, I know SC weather. And we just...

LOVED your snow day! So glad y’all had a great time…yea, grew up in SC all my life and we NEVER saw that much snow…ever! We had several snow events last winter and then Christms Day…so I headed out Saturday to buy the kids proper snow clothes:) I felt it was pretty justified! Chris was less than thrilled but after our 6 inches yesterday…he is now on board! I even found most of the stuff on sale!!! A sled is on my list now…today we made do with an oversized mixing bowl from the restaurant:) Baby girl fit perfect inside and man did it fly! Only in the south:) Your snow pictures are beautiful! Have fun on your second day tomorrow!ReplyCancel

We are there.

We are officially 100% there. We have kids. Not babies. The babies have grown up. I really thought this would be sad for me. In a way, it is. Nothing in this world can compare to a fuzzy-headed, sweet smelling newborn curled up right under your chin. There is truly nothing like it. It is...

This post made me cry….in a good way! Makes me not so sad that my baby boy will be two this year! I still sometimes wish they were babies but am looking forward to them being a little more independent!ReplyCancel

I have very fond memories of playing checkers and learning how to play chess from my dad growing up; i’d love to be able to do that with own kid some day 🙂ReplyCancel

Well that was…interesting

This Christmas was a different one for us. It started out pretty normal and pretty great. We spent the day at home on Christmas Eve. Mak made a present for Santa, Clara Beth wrote him letters on post-it notes and put them on the fireplace screen. I still can’t believe my kids are old enough...

This might be my favorite post ever. Poor Tess! Oh my gosh. Titus is a climber, too. He pushes chairs up to counters, TOO! Maybe this was my warning post…

I love the love in your family. Merry Christmas!

Oh, and their feet are precious. The little crossed ankles, killer. 🙂ReplyCancel
