HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIGHTY MAKGILL!!! WE love you soo much and are soo thankful that we get to watch you run, jump, play and learn everyday!!! We could not be more proud of our nephew!! I remember feeling soo sad that I could not hold you in the hospital or see you soon after you were born- how thankful I am that NOW I get to see you LOTS and watch you play with Tallon- you are a GREAT model to him!
Well, as I sit here with tears running down my face there are so many things going thru my head. First of all, I am remembering my own three children. Yes, even when they have children of their own you can still remember those times when they were little. Second, I am so glad, Mak, that your mommy FINALLY understands how much I love her and her brothers, and some day when you have kids of your own you will understand that. And third, you just can’t imagine how much joy you have brought into my life. From that precious little baby that I watched come into the world to the “big” four year old you are today you are just a constant reminder of God’s goodness and graciousness. Your mommy and daddy, you see, still have a lot to learn, because they have not yet experienced the joy of having grandchildren. It is so much fun, and so rewarding, and so challenging in that it makes me want to be a better person so that you can see Jesus in me. All of my grandchildren…you, Tallon with that BEAUTIFUL smile, and Clara Beth with her “girlyness”…. you all make every day worth living even if it is a not so good day. I love you all so much. You make me a better person. I pray for you all every day, and the people you will marry. I did that for your mommy and your uncles, and I think God really answered those prayers. And I know he will answer them for you guys, too. Happy 4th birthday, buddy. I love you.

Hey! I love your blog. Your kids are beautiful! I can’t get over how much Makgill looks like you. Little Clara Beth is a doll. What fun you guys have!!
