Pumpkin Carving Party

Last year was Makgill’s first pumpkin carving experience. It was great. He touched the pumpkin seeds and pulp and was so grossed out by the texture that he threw up. This kid has a seriously strong gag reflex! Ahhh…wonderful memories. Anyway, this year we thought it would be fun to have friends over to carve...

Never had I carved a pumpkin. Now I know what all the hoopla is about. It is SO fun! Hope this carving party becomes a tradition! The three of us LOVED it!ReplyCancel

Happy Birthday, Isabella!

We had a great time helping Isabella celebrate turning one at her birthday party this afternoon! Because her birthday is so close to Halloween, her parents threw her a dress-up party. It was so fun to see all of the little princesses, pumpkins, fairies, animals, and football players running around. I just love seeing kids...

Hangin’ Out at Home

Today was a yucky, rainy kind of day, so we stayed inside. Claudia and her Mommy came over for a fun “girls” playdate in the playroom. I can’t tell you how much I ADORE playdates with other kids/moms. It is so great to have a little adult conversation and another set of hands around to...

A Fun Day with Friends

Clara Beth, Anna, and I joined Tallon and Rebecca and Julie and Luke for Storytime today. Tuesdays are really for 2 year olds, but CB and I are allowed in because Anna is 2! Clara Beth doesn’t get into it so much, she mostly stays in my lap, but Anna loves it! And Tal COMPLETELY...

Awe… Fun Pictures Aron and a BUSY Day!! I am soo glad ya’ll come to storytime with us- it would NOT be the same without ya’ll!! Makgill sort of reminds me of what Reeves would have looked like in time- out at the park!! What a picture that brings to mind! I can only imagine another little boy will prob have a similar picture sometime in the days (years) ahead!ReplyCancel

A Style All Her Own!

I’ve mentioned in the past that Clara Beth is a tu-tu lovin’ girl. Well, lately it’s been a love-hate relationship between her and the tu-tu. One day she loves it, the next she hates it and wants NOTHING to do with it. I’ve been a little worried about it, because her Halloween costume is a...

Terrific-terrific-terrific! The love-fest getaway looked fabulous and I am thrilled for you two lovebirds! How fun that you had a hot date all weekend! AND, that your babes were SO well cared for while you were gone. The tu-tu/lip-gloss/ballet shoes fiasco is wonderful. She is truly a girly girl…and has really funky-fresh style! Tell her I LOVE it!!ReplyCancel

So glad she has a style that’s all her own…that’s the way it should be…why do we have to do only what other girls are doing??? Let’s all be ourselves like Clara Beth!ReplyCancel
