Last year was Makgill’s first pumpkin carving experience. It was great. He touched the pumpkin seeds and pulp and was so grossed out by the texture that he threw up. This kid has a seriously strong gag reflex! Ahhh…wonderful memories.
Anyway, this year we thought it would be fun to have friends over to carve pumpkins with us. We have been so blessed to find the most amazing group of friends. They are all so fun and we love hanging out with each of them! Thanks for carving pumpkins, y’all!
The four of us had fun playing in the backyard until everyone arrived.
Sweet Baby Girl was so excited to see her Boom-Boom! She yelled “Boo-Boo, Boo-Boo!” as she ran to him. It was so cute!
One CRAZY Kid!!! I LOVE him!!!!!
She was “tee-teeing” on the bushes…just like Bub-o. She’s such a little lady!
This year, Daddy cleaned out the pumpkin while Mak stayed inside. We just thought that might be smarter…and cleaner. But he had a ton of fun helping carve!
He chose to carve a pirate ship!
Baby CB got into it, too!
My sweet nephew didn’t care so much about the pumpkins. But he LOVED Mak’s jeep as always!
Makgill was thrilled to see the pumpkins lit up!
And he was especially proud of his pirate ship!
We had an EXCELLENT time!! Thank you so much for inviting us!
sooo fun- thanks for opening up your yard ( and home)- definitely needs to be an annual event- our family had a blast!!!
That is crazy that Makgill threw up last year!! I wish we could have been there. Looking forward to seeing ya’ll tonight!
OK – so, I wish we could have been there yesterday…not last year when Makgill threw up!! I’m sure you knew what I meant, but it just looked weird when I saw it!!!
Never had I carved a pumpkin. Now I know what all the hoopla is about. It is SO fun! Hope this carving party becomes a tradition! The three of us LOVED it!
