Writing

I picked up a set of flash cards that you can write on for Makgill at Toys r us this morning. They have those dotted lines so that he can trace them. We worked on it for a little while after Clara Beth went down for her afternoon nap. He got bored with it pretty...

😀 Connor is working on his writing too. I got a wipe board with some letters on it at an office supply store, but these flash cards look great. They will be writing their names in no time!ReplyCancel

Storytime and Chick-fil-a

I took the kids to Storytime at the library for the first time today. It was so much fun! It took Makgill a little while to warm up. He was kind of mad at me because he wanted to be in the “big library” playing the computer. He was fine once the toys came out,...

It was great seeing you this morning! I only wish it wasn’t quite so crowded so maybe we could have an actual conversation. I guess that just means we will have to get together somewhere other than the library!ReplyCancel

At the beach with the Otts

We headed down to Huntington last Thursday to photograph one of our absolute FAVORITE families. Actually, Collin was supossed to do the session on Tuesday at Francis Marion but it got rained out. The Otts were headed to the beach for the rest of the week, so Collin was able to clear some time on...

Robby and I have spent the past hour and a half pouring over these pictures. Collin, you always seem to capture my babies personalities. Thanks so much for another great session and the added bonus of spending time with your sweet family. I also enjoyed the pictures that you took, Aron. I only wish there was one of Mak “pruning” the palmetto tree (just thinking about it makes me smile). The message you wrote about our family was so sweet. We cherish our friendship with ya’ll and miss you terribly!ReplyCancel

Father’s Day 2007

Collin had an engagement session at the beach this Saturday evening, so we took the opportunity to have a mini family vacation. We had so much FUN!!!!!! I just love spending time with my three favorite people. Being there on Father’s Day made it even more special. God has really blessed me with the most...

Beautiful pictures, as always. We miss you guys as well. Rebecca had mentioned that you were going to be able to go to the pool this afternoon, and I am SO SAD that the weather is not cooperating. But maybe Friday, or some day next week…our schedule is pretty much wide open except for M/W mornings. So, we’ve found that afternoons are the best time. They have YMCA campers that use the pool between 10-3 which makes for lots of craziness, especially when you’re dealing with little babies/toddlers that aren’t as comfortable being soaked and splashed, so we typically wait till after 3 to go and its stil busy but MUCH calmer. I learned that lesson the hard way 🙂

Anyway, we’d LOVE to meet you guys up there…and are also glad that everyone is feeling so much better in your household.

Let’s talk, and go swimming together, soon!ReplyCancel

Future Theologian

Clara Beth was playing with a wrench that Makgill wanted this evening in the playroom. This is what he told her to get it away from her. “I need that wrench eventually (translation: now). It’s very shark (sharp). The Bible says don’t chew on that Clara Beth.” That little boy of mine is so funny!!!!!!!!!!!
