One great couple!!

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing an amazing couple!! They have been married for (I think) 47 years!!! I honestly believe that they have never met a stranger, or had a dull day in their lives. I can only pray that we can all have the same outward joy toward our loved ones...

    BIG Blog Changes!!!

For awhile now, Collin and I have been going back and forth about separating our blog into two parts- the studio and the family. When Collin started this blog, I really had no interest in it and rarely even looked at it. I just didn’t “get” the whole blog thing, you know? Well, then my...

Well, I’ve noticed over the past several months that almost everyone is going private! I guess we should too! There are so many people I used to check out from your site … the next thing you know … everyone is private and I don’t know their e-mail addresses to say “hi, I’m Aron’s sister-in-law and NOT a weirdo, I just don’t have ANY other mothers I know in St Louis that blog and I love to hear (read) other mother’s rants and raves! Especially since most of your friends have kids my ages. So, to all of you, Aron and Collins friends, I don’t know you, but, I miss you. heehee. Maybe when I’m visiting I’ll be able to met “ya’ll” in person. I understand safety IS an issue. And I can’t wait to see your new family blog!!! Another thing, don’t hold back girlfriend I can’t imagine you offending anyone!ReplyCancel

    One COOL Kid!

Meet Riley. One seriously COOL kid! We LOVE Riley in this house. First of all, he’s 5 which automatically puts him on a whole new level of cool in Makgill’s eyes. But beyond that, the kid’s just hilarious! He has never met a stranger and can carry on some pretty great conversations. And you should...

First of all, we think Makgill is a super cool kid too!!!!
Secondly,I wanted to say that I was super pumped yesterday throughout the entire session and during the projection appointment and I finally calmed down…UNITL NOW! These photos are even more amazing the second time around, I asked Collin to capture Riley’s personality and these photos speak volumes about my little man. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you…these portraits are going to bring a smile to my face every time I look at them, even when he is 17 and rocking it out on his guitar!ReplyCancel

    She’s Growing up

Clara Beth has been changing so fast lately. Mostly in her language, but we have also noticed advancements in that prissy missy little attitude of hers. In fact, I’m not sure the word “little” should be anywhere in the description of her attitude. It’s more like “ATTITUDE”! Lately, we’ve enjoyed several meals with high-pitched shrieking...

Sweet pictures! I love the one where she’s leaning on the house! It’s a sad day when they stop saying those baby words that we’ve grown to love and cherish! Owen still says two wordsReplyCancel

    • GillianMarch 14, 2008 - 1:03 pm

…oops! Owen still says two words, poinky (for pinkie) and harcamonica…I know the day is coming, sooner than I think, when he’ll realize or some ‘big’ kid will tell him the ‘correct’ way to pronounce those words.ReplyCancel

Absolutely GORGEOUS! She is amazing. I can’t believe how fast she is growing up. Wasn’t just yesterday I was about to have Luke and Aron told me in the parking lot of Percy and Willy’s that she was pregnant? Little did we know what was in store. Clara Beth – we love you!ReplyCancel

    Novel Event 2008

On Saturday night, the interesting people of Florence came out of the woodwork! 😯 It was the fund raiser for the Florence Area Literacy Council. Every table is to dress up as the characters of a book. This year we had a LOT of creativiy. From A Christmas Story to the World Atlas. Anything goes....
