Working Man

After nearly 4 years of mooching off of us, Makgill decided to go out on Friday and get a job. 🙂 We went to do some shopping at Tomlinson’s, and found Dad cleaning out his office. This in itself is a miracle, as I don’t think that office has been cleaned since I was born, 29 years ago. So anyway, Dad offers Makgill his first job…shredding some old fliers. It’s pretty cool actually, because this is where I had my first job, and both of my brothers had their first jobs. My great-grandfather started the business in the Depression, and my Dad and brother work there. It’s a great store…clothes, toys, stuff for the house, and best of all, Great prices! You should definitely check it out! Anyway, Makgill had a ball, and even earned a few “moneys”. And I snagged my brother’s camera off of his desk to document the moment.

I can just imagine how FUN he thinks this is! I LOVED working in my Mom’s office when I was little. Carbon paper was my favorite. I would always say “sign by the X” like they did at the bank. hehe.ReplyCancel
