First off…we had a GREAT day today! We spent the day at the Civic Center for She Saturday and it was so much FUN!!! I can’t remember how many years they have done this event, but we have participated from the very first year and every one just gets better. Collin photographed for the $100 Portrait Project and I can’t wait to share those sessions with you. It went really well! My absolute favorite part about it is all of the new people we meet. I love meeting tons of new faces and seeing familiar ones that I may not have seen in a while. And this year we won the award for Best Customer Interaction…YAY! We truly consider that an honor and feel so blessed to have been there to interact with those customers! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and a BIG thanks to all of the ladies at She Magazine who pull this event off every year. Y’all are AWESOME!!!
Another thing that I loved about today was hearing from so many of you that you follow the blog regularly. I love that! I realize that this week has been kinda slack on the posts, so I thought I’d throw in a post on a Saturday night. Not something I typically do. I know…things are getting all Wild and Crazy over here. 😉 This beach session was done earlier this summer. Everyone who comes into the studio asks about that precious, cherubic, blond haired, blue-eyed little boy. Well, Folks, that’s William. And we love him. He’s as fun as he is cute. And he really stole my heart during this session! We looked for shells and ran all over that beach. He’s SUCH a Sweetie! William’s entire family joined him for this session. Uncles, parents, grandparents, and even his great grandmother! Collin photographed the family right in their front yard…and what a BEAUTIFUL front yard it is! William’s grandparents planted all of the sea oats that you see in these portraits and they have spread up and down the beach. It created the most beautiful setting for a beach portrait that I have ever seen! Collin and I had a great time at this session, and looking at these images really makes me want to head back down there. Anyone up for a Fall beach session? It’s our favorite time of the year to photograph there!
I love family portrait sessions with the entire family! These are great! And congratulations on the award!
Thanks, Susanne! And every time I look at this session and yours it makes me want to go back to the beach!
