I am SOOO in love with this time of year!!! Can’t you feel it?!? FALL is in the air, people! Yes, the temps are still getting into the upper 80’s, but still…leaves are on the ground, pumpkins are out and I am burning my yummy apple scented candles from Tomlinsons. All is good. 🙂 Last year during this time I was in somewhat of a funk and just didn’t enjoy the season the way I usually do. That makes me SO SAD, and I refuse to let it happen again! Here’s to a GREAT Fall…lots of time spent with family and friends enjoying God’s Beautiful creation!
The Smiths started out the weekend divided…girls at the Grangers for Lilah and Clara Beth’s first ever sleep-over and boys on their first CAMP OUT!!! Mak anticipated this night all week long. The opportunity to sleep outside in a tent with his Daddy, with all of his best buds around him in their tents was just more excitement than he could handle. They had a great night and I’m still getting whiffs of campfire in their hair, even after multiple washings. 🙂
He was so excited to pack up the “boy” car. NO GIRLS ALLOWED!!!
I bought that tent for Collin back in college with high expectations of romantic camping trips in the mountains after we got married. We’ve never been on one single camping trip. 🙂
LOVE my men!
And, yes, he kind of has scary eyes in this picture, but I love how it shows his excitement!
Wanna know what he’s doing here? Checking to make sure he has his camera. He’s his Daddy’s boy! 😉
Not many pics from the actual camp out. They were having too much fun!
Miss CB and I hung out with Jessica, Lilah and Sawyer. It was the girls first sleep-over! They were up until 10:45 and then Clara Beth wanted to sleep with her mommy so it kinda ruined the whole “sleep-over” idea. Oh, well. We all had a great time anyway. And can you believe I only took one picture?!? Shocking, I know. Here it is, the one and only…Cutie Pie Sawyer.
As soon as I woke up at 6:30 the following morning I texted Collin to see how the night went. They had a great time and were already at IHOP eating pancakes. I think it was the first of MANY father/son camp-outs!
Saturday morning Collin took Mak to his soccer game while CB and I joined some friends for some fishing. FUN!!! So sad that my boys missed out on this!
Don’t bubbles just make you happy?? 🙂
After soccer and fishing we all met back up and headed to the Greek Festival…YUUUUMMMMMM!!!! Seriously, it’s such a good thing that this only happens twice a year. I would weigh entirely too much if Greek pastries were always this readily available to me!
We loved watching one of our studio cuties, Miss Penelope, dance!
And then it was on to the jump castles.
And, finally, on Sunday afternoon we headed out to the Highland Park Pumpkin Patch! I LOVE this place! It’s one of those staples of Fall for me. It’s been there for as long as I can remember and I just have to visit it every year. So when we saw the HP youth unloading the pumpkins on Saturday afternoon I knew where we would be heading on Sunday! I love all of these pics that my talented hubby took!
Beautiful baby Caroline!
Miss Tess in her first pair of jeans!
It’s impossible to get a picture with them all looking. 😉
And I played around with the colors on these. 🙂
Happy Fall!!!
What a fun weekend! I love fall, too! Did Collin grow a beard just for the camp out? You know, to stay warm in these frigid Florence temps? 😉
I don’t know where to start!!! These are some of my favorite “a&c life” pictures!
1. I really like Collin’s beard!
2. I LOVE that CB took her sqeezy baby fishing!
3. ALL the Cannon/Smith children have THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES!!!!!!
4. The pumpkin patch pictures are the cutest, especially the one with Li-Li and Boom Boom!!!
always, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Ladies! Collin has been sportin’ the beard for a few weeks now and i really like it too! Surprisingly! And all the kids can thank Boom-Boom for those blue eyes!
