Very Ready…

For Spring Break. It’s been a really tough end of the week. Collin and I provided a service yesterday that we have prayed we would never need to do. We photographed a Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep session. It was heartbreaking. Actually, that doesn’t even come close to describing the emotions we felt last night. For those of you who don’t know, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is an organization that offers bereavement photography for infants. We photographed a beautiful baby last night. I know that last night will never ever leave my mind. I HATE that this is a service that is needed. But I am so thankful that my husband was able to provide beautiful portraits of a baby that is so loved by his Momma. Portraits she will always be able to remember him by. I have been an emotional wreck today and I finally realized that, of course, that is the reason why. Go hug your babies. Love your babies. Thank God for your babies.

We are headed out in the morning to begin our first Beach Week of the year. We are so looking forward to a more laid-back pace of one session a day. We are hoping for great weather and tons of play time on the beach with our kids, our nieces and nephew, and our family and friends. We are SOOOO Ready for this week!

But, the blog will more than likely not be updated while we are gone. Maybe a post or two, but internet will not be readily available so don’t expect much. Just to remind you, we have two Limited Editions coming up: Show Me Some Love on April 24th and the RETURN of GIRLY GIRLS on May 8th. We are so excited about both of these! Sessions are booking up fast (especially for Girly Girls!!) so be sure to give us a call if you would like to book one of these. Remember, sessions are $45 and portraits are up to 50% off. We will be checking messages while at the beach.

Here are a few more examples from Show Me Some Love and Girly Girls!

Have a Happy Spring Break!

One of my very best friends had a still born baby boy two years ago. It was the worst thing I have ever been a part of. I was there with her the night she delivered and got to hold that sweet baby boy that was already with Jesus. I know it must have been hard on you two but just know what a blessing you both are to that family to have pictures of their sweet boy. My friend didn’t get to have pictures of her baby taken and she always says that is something she will always regret. But, she does have another sweet little boy that just celebrated his first birthday a few weeks ago. God is Good!!ReplyCancel

Aaron and Collin, thank you so much for providing this service. It is so meaningful. I have several “online” friends who have turned to Now I Lay Me Down and they all cherish their photos of their little ones. You have done a wonderful thing!ReplyCancel
