Well, it turns out Clara Beth wasn’t better. In fact, she got worse. Yesterday we noticed that her tongue was really white, and she had ulcers all over her mouth. We went to supper at my parents house last night (because we thought she was okay), but she was MISERABLE. The poor little baby was in so much pain. I was at the doctor’s office with her at 8:30 this morning, and luckily we were seen pretty quickly. It was determined that she does indeed have thrush (I have no idea how), and many, many ulcers from all of the stomach acid from throwing up. She was given 2 antibiotics and I am mixing benadryl and maalox and swabbing it on the ulcers for pain relief. It seems to be working. At least she’s sleeping well. I’m just ready to have my COMPLETELY HEALTHY baby girl back. I HATE to see her suffer like this!

We just LOVE this outfit on her! One of our WONDERFUL clients from the studio (we have the BEST clients!) gave it to Collin after he fell in love with it. Her daughter had outgrown it! Thank-you, Courtney!
Makgill was SO HAPPY to see his cousin, Tallon! It’s been days since he’s been able to play with any kid other than Clara Beth, and, as you can imagine, she hasn’t been much fun.
Rebecca (Tal’s mom, my sis-in-law) told me that after we left Tal took CB’s sippy cup and started drinking from it. OH NO!!! Luckily, the doc said that this kind of thing really isn’t that contagius, but still….I hope my poor nephew doesn’t get attacked by the mouth sores!
I am soo sorry she has thrush and ulcers!! We are praying she feels better soon so we can play again!!!! I love the pictures! That outfit on CB with the hat is ADORABLE!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Thanks for capturing my son in the “real light”- if only he wanted to help clean at my house!!

Poor Clara Beth! Claudia had thrush several months back and we never figured out why. She DID NOT like the med she had to swish in her mouth. I hope they gave CB something different!

Oh my goodness–ya’ll have been through it this week. We are praying for you guys and I hope that by this weekend life will be looking somewhat back to normal and everyone will be feeling good again!
