This pram was a Christmas present to me the year that I was pregnant with Mak. I wanted a pram to stroll my soon-to-be new baby boy in SOOO Bad. I’m not really sure why. At the time it was what all of the posh New York City moms were reported to be toting their tots in up and down Park Ave. Maybe that was the reason. But all of the new prams that I found cost a minimum of $750. And that was just not realistic for this young couple. Somehow, though, my mom was driving down Palmetto one day and saw this old pram sitting in the front yard of an antique shop. She bought it for me for next to nothing and surprised me on Christmas Eve with it. I was SOOO Stinkin’ Excited! It was the centerpiece of both Mak’s and CB’s nurseries, and I just love it. We even strolled Mak around the neighborhood in it once or twice. The pram has been collecting dust in the attic ever since we packed up Clara Beth’s nursery last year. And for the past 6 months Collin and I have been talking about getting it back down to do baby portraits in it. So while he was photographing the boys this week for the “Boys Will be Boys” sessions he also experimented a little bit with the pram with Tess and Sawyer. Here are a few of those images. We can’t wait to use it more in upcoming baby sessions! Be sure to let us know if you want to include it in yours!
These pictures are PRECIOUS!
