Ovis Hill Farm

Makgill and I went on a field trip with his class to Ovis Hill Farm this morning. I had SO MUCH FUN with my baby boy! I miss my one-on-one time with him so much. It’s nice to do things “just the two of us” (and about 50 other 3, 4, and 5 year olds :)).

Lately, Mak has been saying that he wants to be a farmer when he grows up. I’m not really sure how successful he’d be in that line of work. He wasn’t a big fan of any of the animals, didn’t want to sit on the hay, and didn’t care so much about making butter. Really, the only thing he LOVED was the tractor! But we both really enjoyed our time together.

He actually let me hold his hand! And I got several kisses! That was MY favorite part of the day. 🙂

Collin’s Mom and Dad have a dog just like this one. I think they’re so sweet!

See all of the other kids listening to the farmer? Mak’s watching the tractor.

The MOST ANNOYING new habbit…chewing on his shirt. I remember my brothers getting in trouble for this as kids, and Collin says he also remebers doing it as a kid. Is this a “little boy thing”? It’s driving me CRAZY!!!

Oh yeah- another favorite thing that I almost forgot…poop. The things that interst a three year old boy…

I had a wonderful morning with you, Baby Mak! And thank you so much, Rebecca, for watching my girl! She kept saying “T, T” (for Tallon) all the way home!

what a fun day and what wonderful pictures to capture those memories. as a mom of only one, so far, it’s strange to think of my time being divided between two (or more) children, and how you work all of that out. but it’s so encouraging to see you and makgill spending such sweet quality time together, as i’m sure you do with CB as well.

what a good mom you are!ReplyCancel

I am so glad to see that Mak is probably not cut out to be a farmer……you KNOW where he would have to college if he followed thru with that dream…. 🙁 LiLiReplyCancel
