Not Exactly What I was Going For…

If you haven’t seen Zoe and Reese’s session from Sunday, please keep scrolling down. Because that is the location we had to work with. Absolutely GORGEOUS. It’s comical to me how much my kids were NOT into being photographed on Sunday. So, you may not get a Christmas card from us this year. Just a heads-up. Gracious, I love ’em to death but these two make me CRAZY sometimes!!!

Okay, so it WAS freezing. And the cold is hard to hide on my little fair-skinned princess. And I DO love some of these of Mak…and the field images of CB are cute…so maybe it wasn’t a complete waste. Not Christmas card material, but not completely worthless, either. 🙂

I just LOVED this old run down farmhouse. I want to renovate it and live here. 🙂

If you’ll notice, Mak tends to have his “angry face” on in a lot of these. That’s because he was. 🙂

She was kinda warm inside the house. Not too terribly chapped looking…

And then we moved outside. HA!!! Poor baby was so cold she could barely stand up. Here eyes were watering like crazy. And of course, Mak with the angry face again.

Poor kids. 🙁

Okay, so that really wasn’t as bad as I first thought. But I know they were miserable. So, none of those will be on the card. Rest assured, though, we DID get something yesterday when we tried again. Miss CB had on many more layers and both kids were quite toasty. So you will receive a card from the Smiths. If we can get it designed, that is…

I love how she holds on to Maks arm, so sweet! In case I forget, which is highly likely, I would like to do our family session in a field….especially like the one Jess did her maternity portrait.ReplyCancel

So, do you think Zoe and Reese’s family would start renting out their property for photo sessions?? 😉 I love these although I can tell poor CB is freezing! I love the ones of Zoe and Reese, too! Gorgeous girls!ReplyCancel
