She is SO my doll-baby. She knows it and she’s perfectly fine with it. I dress her up, I do her hair…I take her shopping, read to her, play babies with her…having a little girl is such a blessing! She’s growing up and developing the most FUN interests, mostly revolving around being a Momma herself. I love watching her cook for her babies, rock her babies, feed her babies, read to her babies…she is just so much FUN! Mak has different interests, and I’m so thankful for that as well. The boy will drive a three inch long matchbox car all over the house ALL DAY LONG and never get bored with it. For Real. I simply do not get this fascination. Praise the Lord Mak has a Fantastic daddy who not only “gets” this fascination, but also has no problem driving that same three inch matchbox car all over the house all day long and never getting bored. Because I just plain don’t enjoy it. That may sound harsh to you, but really it’s not. I try to play cars or something equally “boy” with Mak and he just ends up getting frustrated with me. He knows that I have zero knowledge of cars and he doesn’t enjoy playing it with me. It’s really okay, he also knows that his Daddy is always ready to play cars and Mak and I have plenty of other things that we share. We read together, color, make up stories, even cook. But some activities are strictly Daddy/Mak and some are strictly Momma/CB. These next images are from Momma/CB activities. She was playing in the playroom last week and I asked her if I could photograph her. She said yes, and I know I will always treasure this peek into her three year old world. Love her. 🙂
Oh, and this is another example of the type of photography I will be doing with the lifestyle look that I talked about a few posts back. Thank you so much for all of the emails I have received! I am getting really excited about doing this!
I LOVE feet. I ALWAYS photograph them. Collin says I’m a little bit obsessed. 🙂 I think it’s because I know that all too soon these cute little kid feet will grow up into not so cute grown up feet. They deserve to be documented, don’t you think?
More feet. 🙂
I just couldn’t get enough of her expressions while she cooked! She put so much thought into each little thing that she prepared for her baby.
Time for a baby bottle! This is Tiny. According to Miss CB, she’s too little to nurse so she gets a tiny bottle of milk. Again, I love the thought she puts into EVERYTHING!
And, storytime…
See my monkey? 😉
You know how I said I love feet? Yeah, lashes too.
Love You, Doll-baby!
Aron, I love these! They are the sweetest pictures of the sweetest 3 year old little girl there is! I love her expressions and I can just hear her talking to her babies. Oh I love her!
that is one fabulous play kitchen she has! i love the first picture of her story time, you can still see the baby in her face 😀
LOVE these so much! And, I love lashes, too!
Gillian, you know how much I paid for that kitchen?!? $10!!! Plus two cans of spray paint. It once lived in a Highland Park classroom. I tell CB that I use to play with it as a little girl in kindergarten. I’m not sure if that’s really true, but I like to think that it is. 🙂
That is one of the sweetest posts!! She is just such a beautiful little girl! And I am pretty obsessed with baby feet too!! That is funny that CB likes to “nurse” her babies. The other day I walked in and Adeline was “nursing” her stuffed dog!! 😀
I don’t get the car thing either Aron. Tim and the boys can spend HOURS “playing” with cars, too. They are impressed that I have finally realized not all hot-wheels are created equal….lol I so enjoy reading about CB, though. I’m sure she’s even more precious than you describe! 🙂
I commented on some of these on FB before I read the blog…So funny that CB said one baby is too tiny to nurse! She may grow up to be a NICU nurse since she already understands some things about them LOL! And I love the feet pics too!
I thought the same thing, Michelle!
