We had so much fun this afternoon celebrating our big boy turning four! The theme was “Mighty Makgill”, and we kept it “smaller”, focused on Mak’s friends instead of all of ours (imagine that!), for simplicity sake. I’m so glad we did! This is by far the simplest party we have ever had for him, but the one he has had the most fun at. We celebrated at FunDayGo, what Makgill has been saying he wanted for his party for months now. This is pretty much Mak’s FAVORITE place to be (besides Disney, of course!), so it was fitting that we had his party here. My Super-hero and all of his little super-hero friends had a great time running around, jumping, sliding, and in general acting like little maniacs! Mak told us at supper that it was his “most favorite party ever”. That’s all I needed to hear!
The one complaint (from Collin, not Mak) was the lighting. Definitely not a photographer’s ideal situation! But you can still get the point from the pictures…
Oh, and THANK-YOU, Christina, for taking the camera from Collin for awhile so that he could actually enjoy his son’s party! We REALLY appreciate it!
Mighty Mak!
And his little sister, Wonder Woman.
Sweet T had a great time, as always. He loves this place just as much as his big cousin!
And Uncle Reeves enjoyed himself a little bit, too. I think we’ll be having his birthday party here next year!
My ADORABLE little super-hero! Oh, how I love that smile!
Daddy-lovin’
She went down the SUPER-HUGE slide all by herself! Seriously, the girl has no fear!
Climbin’ with Mama. She got mad at me because I slowed her down.
Time to move to the party room…
They flew like super-heroes
Admiring his “cape cake”
I made capes and masks for all of the kids, my first ever sewing project! THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, Mrs. Adams and Rebecca for all of your help! I thought the kids looked completely ADORABLE!
Happy Birthday, Mighty Makgill! We love you and hope you had a FANTASTIC time today. We had a lot of fun enjoying it with you!
We had the best time, funny how a cape and mask will bring out the superhero in all of us??!! 😆
Riley will be talking about Mighty Makgill’s superhero birthday party for quite a while. He’s still asking for his “flying” picture.
By the way, the slideshow is AWESOME, the music is a perfect fit. Enjoyed watching it so much.
😛 😛 AWESOME party MAK!!!!!What an amazing birthday idea!Parson has not taken the cape off all morning,he had a blast.Lilah on the other hand had fun but was suffering from no nap the past 2 days.We are so glad yall included us and we had a great time!!!AWESOME!!!
What a fun party!!! Owen had the best time! (maybe not as much fun as Reeves and David) Thanks for a good night sleep! 😉
What complete and total fun for kids of ALL ages!?!?! I love to see “grown ups” getting lost in their childhood while actively playing with their children. Everyone had a smile on their faces in all the pix. Perfect music choice. I love the B&W’s 1/2 way through the slideshow of Aron and her superhero! Isn’t FunDayGo awesome? I love the owners, they are super cool! 😉
Happy Birthday Mak! LOVE the Superhero idea!!!!!
Makgill, you know we would have been there if it wasn’t SO far away. We wish we could have celebrated with you. Even though we don’t get to see each other much we sure think about you and your family a lot! Happy birthday again, to our Smith family Super Hero.
Love.
Hi Aron!
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I definitely remember you-I’m surprised you remember me! I loved jumping over to your blog and reading all about your family. You’ve got some cute kids. Happy Birthday to Makgill. Four was a fun year for us as Drew really started to think, do and say some hilarious things. I look forward to keeping up with you!
I love the pictures & the theme for Mak’s party! And I also love the picture & story about you slowing CB down on the slide 🙂 What little cuties your kiddos are!
great Fun, Mak. It was a real work out. Maybe we should just skip the gym abd take our grandchildren to FunDayGo
