Florence, SC Photographer: Help, Please!!!

OKay, so you know all those times you call/text/message/email me asking for help with your session? Things like “What should we wear?” or “Which portraits would you choose?” or “Where’s the best spot to display them in my home?” Well, now it’s my turn. =) I need your help. Last year for Christmas Collin gave me a new den and a designer to help me put it all together. By the way? BEST. GIFT. EVER. A year later we’re still in the process of getting things put together, but it’s definitely making progress. Beth Grant with Mantissa Row Interiors is AMAZING and you should all call her to help you redesign your space. Ours had had it. We were in desperate need of a change. The old space felt dark and cramped to me. I was craving light and bright and airy. The old worn out red couch with baby spit up and pee-pee stains (I know. Ewww. If you don’t have kids yet you probably have no idea how that even happens, but trust me…it happens. And sometimes it’s not even your kid that does it. It’s someone else’s. That makes it even better) had to GO. Walls had to be painted, shelves had to be regrouped and new art had to go up on the walls. Here’s where you come in.

Beth had this awesome idea of combining a clock and these funky frames in a group above the couch. I’m sure that would have been great, but the truth is, Collin and I are just not that creative and we never could figure out how to build the thing. Instead, we ended up with four 11×14 frames in different shades and shapes. And I LOVE them. BUT…I have NO idea what to put in them. They have been hanging on the wall empty for months now. They make me mad every time I see them. As you know, it’s not for lack of images to fill them with. We have one or two photos of Mak and CB. I just couldn’t figure out how to narrow it down. Well, Collin and I finally decided to fill them with photos of the kids from his parents’ ranch out in Missouri. We have a large family portrait of the four of us at the beach hanging above the fireplace. The beach is what we do with my side of the family. We wanted to pull Collin’s side of the family into the room as well. It seems right to have portraits from The Lazy B! So, here they are. I’ve narrowed it down as far as I can. I need two of Mak and two of Clara Beth and I need YOU to tell me which two to choose. I’ll number them, and if you’ll just tell me the numbers you like in a comment here or on Facebook I would be eternally grateful to you. Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but I really would be thankful. =) And I promise to help you choose outfits/portraits/locations the next time you need it! Thanks, y’all!

Here are the frames:

Y’all, I love these frames SO MUCH and I’m so excited about framing your portraits in them this year! They come in a TON of shapes and colors…the options are endless! Here are the colors that are available:

And before I upload the photos of the kids, here’s the world’s cutest puppy…LOVE her.

And, finally, the portraits I would like for you to choose from:

Thanks again for your help!

I think CB1 or 2 would look best top left frame, 2 if you want her sweet smile and CB4 would look best in the bottom right frame. Mak1 would look great on the top right and Mak 3 in bottom left frame. I like it when 2 subjects on grouped at a angle instead of 2 on top and 2 of same subject on bottom. This would also place CB’s in the white and natural frames which I think would be best. Hope this helps you. I have a lovely granddaughter who is 11 years old. I would love for you to do a session with her and I am open to your advice. My cell # is 307-7566.ReplyCancel
