God Bless America!!!

America…I LOVE this country. I am so blessed to live here and to be raising my family here. And I am so incredibly thankful for my freedom and for the people who fight to protect it. Sometimes in the day to day of life I get caught up in the JUNK that our nation is going through…but that doesn’t change the fact that this is the BEST nation. So much opportunity is available to us and I pray everyday for our future. God Bless America!!!

We did these portraits on a whim. See, Clara Beth’s favorite song right now is “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus. So one day I had it up on youtube while she danced around the den. But I watched the video while she danced…and I fell in love with the flag part of it! I showed it to my sweet hubby, asked him if he could make it happen for me, and he did. I love him. 🙂 And I love these portraits. I want to do them again next year, but I want it to be part of a HUGE charity event. What would be a REALLY GREAT charity for this to benefit? Something having to do with our military…we are open to suggestions! Please leave yours in a comment!! And Happy Independence Day!!!
