Final Disney Day

Saturday was our last day in the parks for this trip. 🙁 You’d think that with the amount of times we’ve gone to Disney this year I’d be ready for a break. At least I thought that. This morning, though, I got a nice little email from Mickey reminding me that my annual pass will be expiring at the end of the month and offering me a deal on renewing it. And now I REALLY want to renew it. I probably won’t, but I want to. It’s a place that we LOVE taking our kids to, and it makes me sad that we’ve finished our last trip for awhile.

It was a great day on Saturday, though! We started bright and early at Epcot and did Soarin’ and Test Track. And Tal and CB had fun driving some cars, too. 🙂

Mak got into pin trading on this trip! Well, maybe not trading. More like pin collecting. He chose a Test Track and a Soarin’ pin because those are his favorite rides.

Not a great pic, but that’s a SUPER-CUTE paci clip, right? They are at Tomlinsons, and if you have a baby, you MUST go check out all of the CUTE new stuff they have in! Adorable!

From there we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to explore Tom Sawyer Island. My kids love this place!

The boys would have stayed here forever.

Time for those who were tall enough to do Big Thunder Mountain…

Li-Li and Sweet Tess had a little rest.

Then everyone split up for lunch, and Collin, Clara Beth and I ended up having a little picnic beside the castle. After lunch Miss CB posed for her Daddy. Unlike her brother, Little Miss LOVES being in front of the camera!

Mak decided to ride Splash Mountain for the first time this trip! That drop has always terrified him, but he decided to do it. And he LOVED it! I was so proud of him! While he and Collin, my brother, and my parents were riding Splash Mt, Rebecca and I took the little ones to Magic Carpets.

And then I got a chance to ride Splash Mountain with my boy!

By this point Clara Beth was exhausted. You can see it in this next picture. She needed a rest! Collin and I took her back to the hotel before trying to find something fun for supper. We didn’t have reservations anywhere, but I was hoping to get lucky! The rest of the group was headed to Chef Mickey’s. I was hoping for Ohana or Park Fare.

She tried the bird-on-her-finger-thing again with this duck while waiting for our bus. 🙂

We came back to the room and ditched the camera for the rest of the trip. The three of us did end up eating at Ohana that nigh, with a PERFECT view of the Castle! Clara Beth loved it! It was a really fun night.

The next morning we packed up and headed out. We stopped in Jacksonville to visit with Collin’s grandfather, and were back in Florence by 7:30. It was a LOOOOONG drive home. This trip was so great! I know the kids will be talking about it for months. Can’t wait to start planning the next one! 😉
