I made it to the wedding!! I was so scared that I wasn’t going to be able to join Collin and our wonderful assistant, Amy, at the wedding of Chasity and Josh. And I SO wanted to see this beautiful bride on her wedding day. I love weddings and I love our brides. We go through so much with these girls during the engagement and I gain a friend every time…which I love. Chasity was no exception. I wasn’t going to be able to make it to this wedding due to a lot of circumstances, childcare for Mak and CB being pretty high on the list, but I got a phone call from Collin on Saturday saying that Chasity really wanted me to be there. And get this …she wanted me to BRING THE KIDS. What?!? Had this sweet bride lost her mind?!?! Me bring a six and four year old to her beautiful reception at Osborne’s? I had serious doubts. I checked to make sure that she was sure, then re-checked again and again, and every time she said that, yes, she wanted them there. So, we went. With every intention of staying all of five minutes and then me having to leave with two children who have no clue how to behave at a wedding. 😉 Guess what? We stayed. For hours. And they LOVED it. And were even, dare I say, well behaved. I was so so happy because I got to see this beautiful, sweet girl in person on her wedding day AND my kids were able to experience a wedding. Chasity looked Amazing. Her girls were so sweet and beautiful, too. And the bride and groom together were perfect. It was a beautiful night and I am thrilled that I was able to be a part of it. And I have had so much fun this week seeing the parts that I wasn’t there for in the photographs. It was a Wonderful, Beautiful day. Congratulations, Chasity and Josh!
I just love the “getting ready” part of the wedding day. All of those little details that you have worked so hard for finally coming together…
She was Gorgeous!!!
LOVE this!
🙂
The reception was at Osborne’s. Such a Wonderful place!!
Scotty G…always a pleasure to work with! He can ALWAYS get the party started!
I love their expressions! Miss CB was so ready to get out on that dance floor.
She would have stayed out there all night long!
A Beautiful night! Congratulations, Chasity and Josh!
I’m sooo glad that ya’ll were their photographers! The pictures were great! Pack and I had to miss their wedding (due to the fact that were in house limbo in Richmond), but I got to feel a little like we were there from looking at these pictures. I love Chasity too…she really is so sweet, and Josh and I grew up together at our church, Elim. The pictures are great. Congratulations Chasity and Josh!
Kimberly, that church is GORGEOUS!!!
