Mak’s Birthday Trip…Days 1 and 2!

Okay, so this really wasn’t Mak’s Birthday trip. We did NOT give our 6 year old a cruise for his birthday. It just so happened that Disney was running this great “Kids Sail Free” promotion and the best dates for us were over his birthday. I’m writing this so I have proof to show Clara...

Why I LOVE working from home

Hijacking the blog from Aron for a minute… Almost 2 years ago we moved the studio to our home and out of a storefront. Many people asked if we have second guessed this or wondered if we made the right decision and we ALWAYS say that it was certainly the right thing to do for...

that’s for making me cry at work Collin! 😆 that is so sweet, and you and Aron are truly blessed to be able to work from your home. I’m sure I’m not the only client who is thankful to have your kids come in during a session to help out! many of the smiles on Layla’s face were because of them.ReplyCancel

Sweetest thing ever! I don’t know what things were like before you moved the studio to your home, but I can’t imagine you not having Aron’s help! Also, I love seeing your kids when I am there!ReplyCancel

That is AWESOMELY SWEET!!! I saw that note on the door today and it made me smile 🙂 I didnt know the story behind it though 🙂 I, too, (well Nicholas even more) love it when your babies attend a session! It makes it so much more “home-y”! And it does NOT seem like it has been 2 years since you moved the studio!ReplyCancel

You are very lucky that your children can witness you and Aron working together as a team and can be there for them after school! I am with Gillian.. thanks for making me cry!ReplyCancel

SLOW DOWN!!!

Do you ever find yourself trying to hurry things up and get to the next season or stage in life? I do this all the time and it makes me so mad at myself! In the dreadful, scorching HEAT of August I was ready for the crisp, cool weather of Fall. When Halloween rolled around...

    My Little Skater Boy

Mak has been begging for a skateboard for Forever. I have been saying No for Forever. It just seems like a bad idea to me. I mean, putting my boy on an unstable little board on WHEELS?! Un-Unh. Not my baby. See, I’m kind of {hugely} a worrier and I could just see broken arms...

You need to head to Salty’s for the proper skateboarding shoes because he looks like a natural! He’ll be doing kick flips before you know it! Mak is so adventerous, I don’t know if there’s a sport he wouldn’t try! 🙂ReplyCancel

You’re right, Gillian! We do need to head to Saltys! Maybe part of his 6th birthday present…ReplyCancel

Oh, but he looks so cute in his Chuck Taylors! But proper shoes are a must, I guess! I love this post! The whole “you have to use two hands to make six” and you and CB agreeing that she’ll stay little forever–so cute and sweet! Thanks for sharing these pictures!ReplyCancel

LOVE this! DREAD the day my 2 ask for a skate board…it will come complete with a marshmellow suite and helment:) Having a peds ICU/trauma/heart nurse for a momma has done them no favors in the recreation department:) Quads are OUT of the question! Such a fuddle dude I am! Can’t wait to see his “official” shoes. Sounds like he needs a Hurley hoodie while your at it! Looking forward to his 6 year pics. Sadly this is our last year on one hand:( Love how y’all capture your kids and what they are into at that time. marthaReplyCancel
