Bitty Baby Blythe

Collin photographed Baby Blythe’s parent’s wedding several years ago, and we were THRILLED when we learned that Jennifer and Hamilton were expecting a baby girl. Jennifer was a well prepared Momma and came in early to discuss The Baby Plan for Blythe. She still had about 11 weeks to go in her pregnancy, but we went ahead and set up her newborn session. As we were discussing dates, Jennifer informed us that this baby WOULD be early. In fact, we set up the newborn session for a week before the baby was even due! As Jennifer left the studio, I laughed to Collin and said “that session will never happen on that date!” Well, imagine my surprise one morning about 10 days after our meeting with Jennifer, when I was drinking my morning cup of coffee and checking up on facebook and saw that Baby Blythe had been born!!! WHAT?!?! I nearly spit my coffee out on the computer! Blythe was EARLY. Very early. Much earlier than even her Momma expected. Baby girl went through SO MUCH in her first few weeks of life. I am not exaggerating in the least when I say that it is a miracle that this sweet child is here. There were many, many ups and downs throughout her hospital stay. We kept up with Blythe through facebook and friends, and prayed like Crazy! I have to tell you, I have never been so happy to see a baby arrive at the studio for her session! On the original date, none the less! Blythe is home now with her Momma and Daddy, who are over the moon in love with their baby girl. And Blythe is just perfect! We love you so much, Baby Blythe…and so look forward to watching you as you grow!
