Pop of COLOR!!!

Last year we had Color Pop. This year we knew we wanted to do something just as fun, but maybe a little bit different. And I LOVE what we came up with for our February Limited Edition! I fell in love with the whole look of the Gap commercials last month. The little girls in...

It makes me want to cry when I see all of my precious grandchildren and how fast they are growing up. But just like I did with all of you guys (my own kids) I enjoy each stage more than the last. If only that little thing called school didn’t steal some of my time with them.ReplyCancel

SLOW DOWN!!!

Do you ever find yourself trying to hurry things up and get to the next season or stage in life? I do this all the time and it makes me so mad at myself! In the dreadful, scorching HEAT of August I was ready for the crisp, cool weather of Fall. When Halloween rolled around...

now Aron, it’s not nice for you to make me cry at work 😀 after seeing these images on here I think I need to change/add to my order!!! are you sure you don’t need a maid 😉
Collin, thank you for capturing my baby girl so beautifully, and Aron thank you for lovin’ on her!

The doll and crown came from Baby Be Blessed…a doll ministy.
“We are a group of stay-at-home Christian mommies who love the Lord and desire to share His hope and truth. Each handmade doll has the Word of God printed on a patch sewn to their belly. Our deepest desire is for each child to come to know, understand and live for Jesus Christ.” (taken from their website) You personalize it with your childs name and any verse you’d like…I choose Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

    My Little Skater Boy

Mak has been begging for a skateboard for Forever. I have been saying No for Forever. It just seems like a bad idea to me. I mean, putting my boy on an unstable little board on WHEELS?! Un-Unh. Not my baby. See, I’m kind of {hugely} a worrier and I could just see broken arms...

You need to head to Salty’s for the proper skateboarding shoes because he looks like a natural! He’ll be doing kick flips before you know it! Mak is so adventerous, I don’t know if there’s a sport he wouldn’t try! 🙂ReplyCancel

Oh, but he looks so cute in his Chuck Taylors! But proper shoes are a must, I guess! I love this post! The whole “you have to use two hands to make six” and you and CB agreeing that she’ll stay little forever–so cute and sweet! Thanks for sharing these pictures!ReplyCancel

LOVE this! DREAD the day my 2 ask for a skate board…it will come complete with a marshmellow suite and helment:) Having a peds ICU/trauma/heart nurse for a momma has done them no favors in the recreation department:) Quads are OUT of the question! Such a fuddle dude I am! Can’t wait to see his “official” shoes. Sounds like he needs a Hurley hoodie while your at it! Looking forward to his 6 year pics. Sadly this is our last year on one hand:( Love how y’all capture your kids and what they are into at that time. marthaReplyCancel
