It was a great day…minus my trip to the ER. I hope you guys have a great time with Maw Maw and Pa Pa. I can’t wait for them to hear CB’s southern accent. It should be a hoot for them. Sorry Byron and Mary…we just can’t help it down here.ReplyCancel

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve day at home, playing with the toys that the kids received the night before at Boom-Boom and Li-Li’s. Collin and Makgill put together his new Smart Cycle. Really cool toy, by the way! Clara Beth still wouldn’t put “Hey-ah” down. She LOVES this baby! And I have to confess, I’m having...

    Christmas, part 1

We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family tonight. It was completely chaotic (as you will see in the pics), and SOOOOO FUN!!! As always, we were all completely spoiled. Thank you, Mom and Dad for everything…the food, the gifts, the conversation and laughing. But most of all, thank you for being you! We...

We had so much fun!!! I always want my floor to be totally covered up with paper when we open gifts. And it was. But I had to go prepare dinner, so I couldn’t help clean it up 😀 And I have never been so shocked at a gift in my whole life, especially since Fred doesn’t even like Disney World that much. I have already started planning. But it looks like Mak wasn’t all that thrilled with my gift. Could he be a little jealous? Thanks, Fred, and thanks to my WDW consultant who helped plan.ReplyCancel

It is time to track “The Big Guy” in the red suit!

Tracking starts a few hours from now (9:00pm)! In the mean time, you can go here ( http://www.noradsanta.org/en/home.htm ) and take a look around Santa’s village. Check back as Christmas Eve starts, Santa has a lot of ground to cover.

      Welcome, Little Leah!

Very early this morning, at 5:13am, a beautiful baby girl was born to our dear friends, Steve and Rebecca! After a LONG labor (nearly 36 hours!), Leah Mae made her entrance into this world, weighing in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches in length. We had the pleasure of meeting this sweet baby...

Thank you soooo much for giving us (Steve’s sister and family in Canada) the opportunity to share in some of these precious moments! It is so hard not to be there in person, but I couldn’t have asked for more in comprimise. We only have 4 days left to wait before we make our way south to meet this precious and most perfect child.

        Love the Birch FamilyReplyCancel

Beautiful pictures of an astounding subject! Seeing as we are 1000 miles away this helps a lot. We expect to arrive late on December 27 along with most of the Birch family mentioned above. This gives us a foretaste of what to expect. She really is beautiful. Thank you for posting them.

We are very proud of her parents and join you in asking God to keep his hand on them all. He continues to do wondrous works.ReplyCancel

Wow Collin. Argueably your best work ever, but then again I am a little bias. My sister Joanne and I both cried when it came to the picture of her feet. I can’t tell you how much this means especially with my family being in Toronto.ReplyCancel
