We had a great time with the kids in Charleston today. Collin had a session a few weeks ago that was postponed due to rain, and today was the day it was rescheduled for (Beautiful weather today, by the way!). Mak has been talking about wanting to “ride a horse” (carriage ride) since we were there in July, so we thought today would be the perfect day. By the time we finally made it, we had just enough time to do a carriage ride and then make it to the Battery for the session. I was so excited for Mak to do this! He’s really been talking about it several times a week for the last few months. I thought he would love it. Well, he enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as I thought he would. And he had to go tee-tee about half-way through the tour, so we had to jump off! I think the other guests (and the guide) may have been kind of happy to see us go. We had the only kids on the tour, and Clara Beth was LOUD. Not unhappy, just talking a lot. I think we’ll wait a few years before we try that activity again! <\/p>\n

The kids and I hung out at Battery Park while Collin took pictures. Mak climbed all over EVERYTHING! And had a BLAST! We could’ve saved $40 and come here in the first place…<\/p>\n
