This past Sunday afternoon I was so excited to hang out with Megan and Neil at their home as they get things ready for the arrival of their baby girl, Avin. I so vividly remember this stage in my life. There is nothing like the days when you are planning for your first baby…you know your world is about to change in a HUGE way, but there’s really no way to comprehend just what those changes are going to be like. It’s such a wonderful time of anticipation, and I was so happy to have a glimpse into this special time with Megan and Neil!<\/p>\n

Quite obviously, the BIG event is weighing heavily on Megan right now…she’ll be great, though. She’s studying up. =)<\/p>\n

The little girl accessories that fill Avin’s nursery are ADORABLE! Look at the bow collection that this child already has! And the itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-yellow-polka-dot-bikini? Ummm…that’s too cute for words.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You add in some newborn sized jelly sandals and the “awwww” factor just goes way over the top!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that Megan has her old and very loved doll already residing in Avin’s crib…ready for more lovin’ from a second generation. My kids play with this ugly stuffed mouse that was so important to me as a kid. It’s fun seeing your babies love on something that you remember loving on as a child.<\/p>\n

I love Megan and Neil’s relationship! It’s easy to see that they have so much fun together. They love one another so much and I think Baby Avin will fit in quite nicely. I can’t wait to see that happen!<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Look at the adorable items that are filling Miss Avin’s hospital bag! Baby Girl is going to be the best dressed baby in the nursery. =)<\/p>\n

It’s so fun to me to see how dads get involved in the pregnancy. I mean, let’s face it…the pregnancy pretty much revolves around the momma because she is the one actually growing the baby, ya know? But I LOVE a Daddy who gets as involved in the pregnancy part as he can. Neil is most definitely that kind of Daddy. He pampers his bride and it’s pretty clear that he loves helping in any way that he can. Including making her laugh. =)<\/p>\n

Really, though, how great is it that he helps Megan with the belly lotion?!? I LOVE that!<\/p>\n

Ice Cream. A pregnant lady’s best friend? I think so. =)<\/p>\n

I guess maybe I was a little wrong when I said that Avin was the first baby for Megan and Neil. Actually, their first baby is a one year old furry pup named Sadie. She’s SUPER friendly and sweet, and I think she’s going to be great with Miss Avin! She can even help out with keeping the baby clean by using that tongue of hers. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Megan and Neil (and Sadie!), I had so much fun hanging out with y’all! You are an amazing couple and you are going to fit into the Momma and Daddy roles quite nicely. I can’t wait to watch that happen! Thanks for letting me hang out with you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
