I am on such a baby boy kick right now! It happens every year in January and February as we have another Mak birthday and I slip one year farther away from having a “baby” boy in the home. Not that I don’t love every single thing about having a big boy…but you can’t deny that there is something undeniably sweet about a baby boy. Last week I had the opportunity to do a lifestyle session with two super sweet little boys. Henry just turned one and Derrick turns three tomorrow! Henry reminds me so much of my Mak at that age. Teeny, bald, and determined to climb brick steps and eat pine straw. Derrick has the sweetest little sprinkling of freckles across his nose and loves all things outside. Tractors, mostly. It was so much fun to spend an hour with these two boys and reminisce about when Mak was at those stages. Rebecca and Todd, you have two sweet little guys! Thank you for letting me spend time with them. And Happy Birthday, Derrick!<\/p>\n

When I arrived they were already happily playing in the front yard…Derrick on his tractor, Henry making a beeline for the steps and eating leaves. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Oh My Gracious!!! Henry has the BEST pout EVER!<\/p>\n

For some reason, Derrick started calling his mommy “Sugar” right about now. Not sure why, but it was pretty funny!<\/p>\n

Oh, I love a little bald headed boy!<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

And, the momma-hold. You know I love it. =)<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

After popsicles we went back inside where Derrick promptly stripped down and went to grab his lovey.<\/p>\n

How sweet is he?!<\/p>\n

And as I left, Henry was helping his momma in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
