Yesterday was a good day. I was able to get a lot of work done and a lot of phone calls made, but I still have more calls to make. Last evening I had a portrait session for a little girl that has been to my studio since she was just three months old. One of my first customers, I was talking to her mom about my humble studio beginnings working out of a small room in my house and using my in’laws living room whenever I needed a camera room set up. Here it is, and she is five years old, I am in my second storefront studio space, in SC’s top ten photographers and voted best by the people in the great area of Florence and the Pee Dee, not once, but twice now. And now I am looking at moving my studio back to my home so that I will be able to spend more time with my family throughout the day. This is probably one of the most exciting things that is coming up in my business life, mainly because it is directly connected to my personal life. After all, when you have a family like mine, why wouldn’t you want to spend more time at home.
Everyone go home today and give everyone in your family a hug and tell them how much you love them. It is amazing how much it will make people smile.
