Collin just posted about this sweet little guy over on the $100 Portrait Project site, but I had to share a little bit about him here. Meet Baby Collin. This kid is AMAZING. He’s three months old. He just got up to 5 pounds (YAY, Collin!). He has been poked and prodded more in his short three months than most of us will be in a lifetime. He is one of the reasons we started the $100 Portrait Project. I love this baby boy! While Big Collin photographed Baby Collin, we listened to the stories of what this family has been through in the last three months. We heard about how scared they were to learn that they were going to Charleston to deliver their baby…much too early. We heard about Jeffery (Daddy) hearing his tiny cry when he was born, and knowing that this kid was a fighter. We heard about Dori (Mommy) being able to do Kangaroo Care with him for the first time. We learned that Collin does NOT like to be messed with when he is sleeping! We learned so much about him, but most of all, we learned that this teeny tiny baby is one HUGE miracle. He is HERE and I am so thankful for that! Collin and other babies and children like him are the reason we started the $100 Portrait Project. Yes, you will receive an incredible portrait for $100 when you participate in this project. But even better than that? You will be contributing to an organization devoted to saving the lives of children like Collin.
