Sweet Baby Ella Kate

LOVE LOVE LOVE this sweet child! But I hate that she lives 4 hours away. Last week was completely NUTSO-CRAZY for us. Maybe the busiest week we have ever had. It was our tenth anniversary, Clara Beth’s ballet rehearsal and recital, her birthday celebration at school, her birthday party and then on Friday we decided to book a Disney trip. For that weekend. For ONE day. We have been planning for awhile now to get annual passes again. And we kept Clara Beth’s birthday party VERY low-key this year…just a few close friends. Plus, the party was in the morning so it was easy to just jet (well, not really jet. we drove.) down to Orlando after the party was over. But the REAL reason that we went ahead and scooted down there this weekend? THIS baby girl. Miss Ella Kate was born almost two weeks ago to our dear friends, Patrick and Heather. And Baby Girl needed some newborn portraits. Conveniently, they live in Jacksonville, making it an easy stop on the way home from Disney. So, we did! The kids got to play with Lilli and Alana, I got to love on the sweet little one, Collin photographed and we caught up with Patrick and Heather. I can’t think of a better way to break up the drive home. Little Miss did NOT want to fall asleep at first, but she finally got there. And it was fun finding places and props in their home because we brought nothing but the camera with us. Pat and Heather, congratulations on ANOTHER beautiful baby girl! I’m so glad we were able to meet her!!!
