Summer 2016!!!

It’s my favorite time of year! The sun is staying out late into the evening, the children are spending hours and hours every single day outside, and I can practically taste the carefree days of SUMMER that will be here so soon! I just can’t wait! We have many things planned for the upcoming months that we are excited to share with you. And, of course, we are super excited about all of the fun ideas that you have to make your family’s summer session unique! If you have an idea for a session for your child or family, we’d love to hear it. We want to have some FUN this summer, y’all!

BEACH DAYS

Far and away, my favorite thing about this time of year is packing up a picnic, throwing our family in the car and heading to the beautiful South Carolina coast for an evening session. Our family LOVES the beach. Pretty sure there’s salt running through our veins. Thankfully, we aren’t the only ones who love it! God created a spectacular backdrop for us when He made the beach, and we are thankful to live in a place where we can frequently use it for sessions! Is this the year for your family’s beach session? Portrait garden

The portrait garden here at the studio has been getting tons of love this year! We’ve had visits from the tiniest little newborn babes, sweet little sitters, and one year olds who smash a cake and then clean up with a nice warm bubble bath in the grass! Two year olds have twirled in the pathways and older ones have stood by the iron gate. We even had a tiny little fisherman out there this morning! One new to us prop that we recently acquired is an old reclaimed wood tree swing, and y’all, I just LOVE it!!! Nothing says southern like an old tree swing hanging beneath a shady oak tree! Let us know if you’d like to make it part of your session this summer.

First Year Baby Plan Contest

We’ve been having fun this year with our contests and giveaways that we have done as part of our studio’s Fifteenth anniversary. In January we gave away a tween session in honor of our son’s birthday, and right now, in honor of our daughter Clara Beth turning ten we have a Baby Plan contest going on! All of the details are over on our studio Facebook page. Anyone can enter, whether you have a baby or not. Feel free to gift the prize to a friend if you are unable to use it!
