So, you wanna go to Florida? We do too! I’m sure that’s not a surprise to you. We are excited to announce that we have annual passes to the Happiest Place on Earth (aka Disney World!!!) again this year and we will be traveling to Florida for portrait sessions! We LOVE Florida. The number one reason that we love the place so much is because one of our very FAVORITE people on this earth lives there. Collin’s grandfather, our beloved Abie. He is absolutely without a doubt the most fascinating man I have ever met. His life experiences would make an incredible novel…or movie…but it’s all REAL life. His life. And we are blessed to be able to hear him tell us his life stories. So, above all else, that’s why we love traveling to Florida. Secondly, though, it’s just a pretty cool state. The beaches are beautiful and, of course, we think it holds the best theme park in all of the world…Disney. We have done many portrait sessions and even a wedding in Florida, and this year we hope to do many more. How does it work, you ask? Simple! Let us know when you will be there. If it works with our schedule then we will happily hook the old Airstream to the old Suburban and make the 7 hour trek to meet you there to photograph your family. Or, we will let you know when we are planning on being there and if it works for your family to also vacation at that time then we can meet up for a session. The best part: NO travel fee!!! It’s a great spot for couples, families, children…even large extended families that are meeting up for a giant family vacation! I’m going to fill this post with some past Florida sessions to give you an idea of what we have done in the past. Also, I’m announcing our first dates: August 4th through 8th. I love it when this happens! Every now and then we do a session of one of the kids and then in the hustle and bustle of work and everyday life, forget that we have done it. That happened here. We did a session of Clara Beth on her 5th Birthday trip to Disney (a tradition that my parents do with each grandkid) and then forgot that we had done it! We recently found them and I LOVE them so much! These are in March, 2 months before she turned five. My sweet baby! I can’t tell you how happy these photos make me!
