It’s starting to get REALLY REAL. I mentioned in Makgill’s three and a half year post that we will be starting preschool this year. And that I am having a wee bit of anxiety over it. So anyway, I’m wanting to make all school-related things FUN, mostly for him, but also for me. I really want us BOTH to have positive feelings about the upcoming year (not that he needs any help from me- he’s COMPLETELY ready!). So tonight we went to Target to load up with supplies for the year. It was Fun!
A little craziness on the car ride over there. We were all laughing because he just told Collin to call “Peripex” because he found some ants in his sandbox! He meant Terminex! Sweet, silly boy!
And of course the meltdown that accompanies any trip to Target…This kid is just NOT a shopper. Unfortunately for him, his Mama is.
AMAZEMENT at the HUGE selection!
Selecting the items that he deems to be THE BEST
Checkin’ out the goods…
Sweet CB enjoyed chewing on Mommy’s sunglasses (she calls them “eyes”), and watching Bub-o. By the way, she is feeling MUCH better. Thank-you so much for all of the sweet calls, comments, e-mails to check on her!
This aisle proved to be somewhat of a distraction…
The item that took the longest time to select…band-aids. So many characters, only one box. What’s a 3 year old to do? “Fast cars” finally won out.
Checking out his loot after throwing the final selection into the buggy
Pushing it to the checkout
Starting to help carry his bags out…
Nevermind. It’s too heavy.
I can not believe my nephew is starting school!!!! what a big boy- he is going to do AWESOME!! Glad the fast car bandaids won!! very cool=) nice commentary with the pics- I felt like i was with you in target… meltdown and all=) love ya guys!
Really, one of my favorite posts…! I think it is because I felt as if I went with you to Target. Great commentary and the pictures rock!! Great angles from above…he looked so tiny.
What a great little documentary! Ya’ll are such a fun family!
