Can you even believe it?! Starbucks is serving up their pumpkin spice lattes which means it’s time for us to start announcing our Christmas sets and dates. I am SO STINKIN’ EXCITED about this year’s Christmas options!!! I showed Collin my inspiration idea several months ago and basically said “I want this. Figure out how to do it, please?”. He loves it when I do that. 😉 But he’s good at it…making the impossible a possibility. After a bunch of eye rolling from him and protests of “This is why we can’t do this in the studio…”, he found an old barn door and made it happen. See, I’ve learned to fight through the eye rolls and protests because it’s all part of his way of figuring out how to make it happen. Great Day, I love that man! Anyway, he created the barn scene that I was after and “The Christmas Barn” was born. I LOVE THIS SET. Seriously, it’s Gorgeous, and it works well for formal or casual, whatever style suits you best. Also? We think a little girl in a beautiful formal coat or a boy in jeans and a pea coat would be AMAZING on this set. The dates for The Christmas Barn will be November 14th through 17th.
We are also bringing back Winter Wonderland! These sessions turned out better than we could have imagined last year and gave such a soft, glowy, wintery feel! This set is perfect for a tone on tone, wintery white look, but it’s also wonderful with a pop of Christmas color. The portraits that came from this set last year were STUNNING. Can’t wait for more this year! We will be doing Winter Wonderland November 24th, 26th, and 27th.
And, as always, we will be bringing back an outdoor Home for the Holidays set. This set will be available on ALL of our Christmas dates. In the past we have decorated a doorway and a rustic picket fence…this year will be more of the same but with a twist! It will be a set that works well with formal clothing or casual, and will be a very nice option for family portraits. The dates for Home for the Holidays are November 14th through 17th, 24th, 26th, and 27th.
ALSO…there is a chance that we will have one more SURPRISE Christmas set!! If we do it will also be outdoors and will be available on all dates. More info coming soon, but if you go ahead and book your Christmas session we will be able to move your time to the surprise set if you choose.
