Y’all are looking outside constantly too, right?! At all of the beautiful blooms that are popping out more and more every single day?! I LOVE good old Flo-town this time of year! The azaleas are well on their way, and even the Bradford Pears with their monkey house smell are gorgeous to look at. It puts me in a happy mood to see all of these gorgeous colors. And just like the rest of Florence, our portrait garden is getting ready to explode with flowers! We can’t wait! That means that it’s time to announce Easter sessions at the studio. These sessions are traditional garden portraits that will be created right here in our studio’s portrait garden. I love seeing smocked dresses, bonnets, jon jons, bubbles, and knee socks…sweet little Mary Janes, sandals, or even little bare feet! We photograph the children in our garden pathways and in front of the iron gate, and yes we have so much fun doing it, but there’s nothing wild and crazy or super trendy about these sessions. Just your precious child in a beautiful garden setting. These sessions are perfect for creating a timeless heirloom art piece of your little one in a classic southern location. Sessions will be held on March 30th and 31st by appointment only. They are $45 (or FREE for Five Year Plan members!), and will have specially priced portrait packages available. Also, our paintings will be available from these sessions! Our studio paintings are my favorite way to display a classic children’s portrait. Ours of Makgill and Clara Beth hang in our dining room, and I promise you I stare at them at every single meal.
