Do you ever feel as an adult that you’re just pretending? Playing house? Totally in awe that the little people running around are yours?? I mean, obviously I know that Mak and CB are mine, but there are days that I just can’t believe that I’m old enough to be married with two kids. By the way, I absolutely LOVE this reality that is my life, don’t get me wrong. Sometimes it’s just shocking. And I feel the same way about my friends, especially families like this one. I remember hanging out in Jason and Jessica’s back yard on Friday nights when we were all newlyweds. Kids weren’t on the horizon for several more years. Now I look at them and see three little ones in tow and think “How on earth did that happen so fast?!?!?”. I am SO glad that it did. Hanging out as brand new married young adults was crazy kinds of fun, but it in no way compares to hanging out as mommas and daddies. It’s amazing to see where the Lord has brought each and every one of us, and I look forward to seeing where He will take us. Jason and Jessica, y’all have a Gorgeous family! So blessed to know all of you!
