Beach sessions are a funny thing. Frequently a late afternoon thunder storm will roll in and threaten to rain out our session, but it almost always blows over and leaves us with beautiful skies by the time the actual photographing starts. Not this time. We were chased off of the beach by giant raindrops. Thankfully, Payton and Page are older and have worked with us for years, so we really didn’t need a ton of time to get the session done. We worked FAST, and got the images we needed just as we saw a giant wall of rain move toward us over the ocean. But after the rain started up we headed over to the marsh side, where it wasn’t raining, to see if we could get a few more photos over there. I’m SO glad we did! The skies were AMAZING that night! The colors were so intense and beautiful, and it made me so thankful that rain had made us leave the beach! Guys, as always, we had fun! Thanks for dodging the rain with us and being flexible!
