Crankin’ out those blog posts this morning. Give me a lazy Saturday, Christmas lights, and an obscene amount of coffee and I can edit the hang out of our family photos and get those memories recorded. It’s been a good momma morning. =)
Yesterday was our annual Cousin Gingerbread contest. The big ones were more serious about it this year than they ever have been in the past. I’m already looking forward to next year.
See that cute kid in the corner? He discovered photoshop this week. =)
This just makes me happy. My Christmas mug collection is growing. Anything tastes better in a Christmas mug, am I right? #allfromTomlinsons
So, those cookies that I just blogged about an hour ago? Only one was left by the time we made it to the Gingerbread Party. As a result, cookies for the party were provided by Freeman’s. YUM. And so pretty, too!
The action started at 4:00. Strategizing was immediate.
He was MAD. He wanted his own gingerbread house. What he doesn’t realize, though, is that I think he’s super cute when he’s mad.
Ha! This one of Tess makes me laugh! Girlfriend ingested CRAAAZY amounts of sugar yesterday.
The boys’ snowman! Love it!
More crazy sugar consumption.
Note to self: Need more icing next year.
I loved the roofs on both houses this year! They put so much more thought into it than in years past.
I think this is the exact moment in which the boys realized that they had this year’s victory in the bag.
LOVE them!
And, done. The boys requested a Facebook competition to determine the winner. I loved that idea because it meant that none of the parents were the bad guys. Boys won. They deserved it.
As it is every year, this was so much fun. I love this tradition and I’m so happy that Rebecca thought it up so many years ago!
