Remember Angela and Garrison? The sweet sweet momma and the baby boy who was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy? Well, they are on their way. To a specialist in Wisconsin. They had to rent an RV to travel there because Garrison can’t travel by air. I can’t imagine but I do know that if I were in their situation at this minute I would covet your prayers more than anything else. I am SO blessed to know Angela. She is an amazing mother who loves her babies more than anything else and will do ANYTHING to help her baby boy have a better, longer, more comfortable life.
Angela was given Garrison’s diagnosis when he was just an infant and the doctors told her to take him home and love him. To keep him comfortable, but not expect him to live more than six more months. Today, Garrison is TWO years old. And, yes, his life is really tough and full of treatments and things that no child should ever have to go through. But Angela knows he is the strongest, happiest boy in the world. He is a Fighter. She says he sits there and smiles and laughs through all of the hard work…and the thing that makes her happiest is that he is HER son. She gets to be the one who can comfort him like no one else. She knows every teeny tiny detail about him and he knows that his momma loves him with all of her heart.
Right now the family is traveling to Wisconsin. So let’s pray for them. For Leon, Angela, Taylor and Garrison to have safety in their travels and fun family times on the road…and especially for help for Garrison. Thanks SO Much, y’all, and I will definitely keep you updated on this precious boy!
