For the last couple of years, I have been donating my time to the Florence Literacy Council’s Novel Event, and never knowing what I am getting myself into . It is a great event and auction to raise money for the Florence Literacy Council, which helps adults learn to read. The Novel Event is a great night where a group gets together and “becomes” a book. Costumes, sets, characters… You never know what to expect. If you have a favorite book that you have always thought… “I would love to be in this story” then this would be your night.
