All of you mommas dropping your babies off at college this week…WHEW! I can’t handle it. I’m over here looking at Facebook and screaming “NOOOOOO!!!! That one should still be in middle school…right??” Eighteen years is not enough. But then, it is. They’re ready. Ugh, so very bittersweet. Anyway, this girl? This one hurts my heart A LOT. That’s why I haven’t blogged her until now. I have held Raelyn in my arms as a sweet little toddler, laughed at hilarious things she’s done over the years, vacationed with her, cried for her, and watched her grow up into one of the most beautiful humans that I know. She is FULL of grace and I just can’t believe that within a week I won’t see her face every time I walk into the church. And my friend won’t have her girl sleeping upstairs anymore. Can’t handle it! BUT…she’s off to do incredible things and I’m so excited for her future I can’t stand it. That bittersweet thing I mentioned a few sentences back? She is it, personified. Raelyn, we love you SO SO much. We can’t wait to watch the next few years unfold. Come home often. I MEAN IT.
