WOW. Y’all are AMAZING. That’s all I can say about the response we have received so far to the $100 Portrait Project. I started receiving emails from people yesterday morning, and they haven’t stopped yet. Every stop that I made today, someone would ask about it. I am blown away! Y’all, together we are going to do AMAZING things for The Childrens Miracle Network! Some of the emails have been from moms whose babies have benefited from this organization. They are so touching, and have brought me to tears every time I have read one. A lot of my emotions are stemming from the fact that my BABY…my teeny little boy…will be FIVE tomorrow. Oh, My! Collin is away this evening, so I was doing the whole night time routine on my own. Mak suckered me into a couple extra songs and bedtime stories, the way he always does when Collin’s not here. I was walking back down the stairs after we had finished, and I started looking at the collage that we have displayed. The one that I mentioned before that was done in the same style of the $100 Portrait Project. And, of course, I started crying again (seriously, I am such a SAP around my kids birthdays!). They have grown up SO FAST! And they aren’t even “grown”. I mean, really, in the whole scheme of things, they are still very much babies. But in these images they were REALLY babies. I thought I would share so you could see a few more examples of what you can expect from a $100 Portrait Project session. These just make me smile!
Clara Beth, 4 months
One of my favorites EVER of us!
They were so in love then, too! It’s funny how you forget some things, but then a portrait can bring it all back. She ADORED him at this stage. And he was so protective!
Mak at almost three. He was still such a baby!
So, there they are. A few more examples. I really love this look. Collin and I spent hours contemplating what look would work best. I just love the way I can see Mak and Clara Beth’s personalities in these. It’s such a pure, clean portrait, if that makes any sense at all! The subject really stands out. If you are interested in being involved, please call the studio at 843-665-4646. We have had interest from play groups, moms who just want to have a party and get great portraits of their kids, as well as various commercial locations around town. Contact us for more information, and remember to visit “The $100 Portrait Project” page at the top of the blog. And, thanks again for your support!
Oh…and check back tomorrow to see Mak’s SUPER-COOL 5th Birthday slideshow!
I love these so much, especially the one of you and Clara Beth! Thanks for sharing!
Oh Aron, those pictures are so beautiful! I really love the ones of Mak and CB looking at each other, so sweet!!! and the one of you and CB is a treasure, you are so lucky to have all of those beautiful moments captured!
