Meg

Collin has been busy at the Studio recently. REALLY BUSY. Which is WONDERFUL! We feel so blessed that business is going well, and it blows our mind to look back over the last 6 years and see how far Our Lord has brought us. Truly, it’s remarkable. Maybe someday I will do a post about that…

Anyway, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in his workday to get everything done that needs to be done. So the other night he brought his laptop home and set to work on some orders after we put the kids to bed. I kept looking over at his computer and was AMAZED at the BEAUTIFUL children I was seeing. I then started thinking of the last session of his that I actually saw. It’s been a LONG time. I once knew all of his clients, and now I know very few. This is because we have added to our family two beautiful children of our own, and it’s just not as easy to hang out at the Studio anymore. This makes me sad, but I look forward to the Studio coming to our home so I can get to know you all again!

So Collin was working on the orders and I was peeking over his shoulder…and this GORGEOUS baby girl pops up on the screen. “Who is that beautiful child?!?” I asked. And when he told me that it was Meg, I was SHOCKED! I thought she was maybe one year old by now (I have no idea why I thought that. My own daughter is now 15 months! I think having babies does something to your sense of time.). I remember seeing Meg last for her 3 month mother/baby session. She was beautiful then, too! Then Collin tells me that he has been doing Meg’s new baby brother’s pictures for the past few months. What?!?! A new brother? I felt so completely out of touch with the Studio!
