Florence, SC Children’s Photographer: Lights Before Christmas 2011

Remember that contest that we did over on Facebook a few months back? It was a Thank You contest for y’all voting us Best of the Pee Dee and we gave away a family session and 20 inch wall portrait. Well, a girl named Ashley won it for her family, and we were finally able to meet them all and photograph them last night at the Horseshoe at USC. They are HUGE Gamecock fans (Love!) so that location seemed like a natural choice. Here are a few peeks at their session…can’t wait to share them all!

And second, the entire family. They were hilarious and so much fun to work with. I love seeing families with older children who get along well and have fun together. Gives me hope for us as we grow up!

Also, it gave us a great excuse to sneak away from Florence for a few hours during this crazy season and have a fun evening with our own family. We took Mak and Clara Beth to see the lights at Riverbanks. It was a perfect evening…not too cold but just chilly enough to feel like Christmas. A wonderful little break from the insanity of Christmas portrait deliveries back here in Florence. We’re back to that today, and then later tonight it’s a HUGE caroling event with our Homeschool group. Can’t wait! Yes, this time of year is so busy and so full that sometimes it feels like you barely have time to breathe…but it’s SO FUN. Merry Christmas! =)
