This was such a fun session that I was so scared wasn’t going to happen. We were scheduled to meet up with Lamibia and Jairus in the Five Points area in Columbia one Friday night for their Engagement session. Collin and I got there early and immediately began to get nervous about the location. See, there was some sort of St. Patrick’s Day celebration going on and there were little dancers EVERYWHERE dressed head to toe in GREEN. Cute as they were, that doesn’t make for a pretty background. =) Add to that the giant black cloud that was rolling in…and well, let’s just say that Collin and I were getting nervous that we had travelled to Columbia for nothing because this session wasn’t going to happen. Meanwhile, Jairus and Lamibia, also traveling from Florence, were running late. They made it into Columbia in the middle of rush hour and traffic funneled them straight into the Vista. This turned out to be a huge blessing. We jumped in the car and met them over there. The huge cloud rolled away and there were no little green dancers on that side of town. We walked through the Vista with Jairus and Lamibia, found some amazing spots to work and had a really fun evening. I’m SO glad everything worked out!! Jairus and Lamibia, y’all are such a fun couple! We are looking forward to your big day!
