Oh My Goodness…I LOVE this couple! Remember a few weeks ago when I posted about our first weekend away since Clara Beth was born? Well, Collin had an engagement session that Saturday evening for Jennifer and Ty, who will be getting married early next year. I knew that the location was perfect the minute I saw the long, oak-lined driveway with the perfect Southern plantation home sitting at the end and the marsh beyond that. This home has been in Jennifer’s family for 5 generations, and it is incredible. The PERFECT place for their Engagement session.
Then I met Jennifer and Ty, and became even more excited about the session. They truly are a wonderful couple. Beautiful, inside and out, and deliriously in love with one another! I was able to talk with both of their mothers while Collin was working with them, and learned a little about their “story”. Evidently, Ty came home the first night that he met Jennifer and told his mom that he was going to marry this girl. Now, I can appreciate this on two levels. One, he fell head over heels for her the first time they met, and Two, he came home and told his mother about it! As the mother of a son, I pray that Makgill will share things like this with me one day (many, MANY years from now). They are both so excited, not only about the wedding, but also about spending the rest of their lives together. And it shows in the images from their session. I am so thankful that I was able to be there!
