We’re still in the process of wrapping up 2017 senior sessions over here! This is one that Collin photographed recently that I just love. He met Kayla out at their family farm where she grew up to do this session. I adore when a session location is personal and meaningful to the person being photographed! Obviously, Kayla was completely at home here because, well, it is her home. It was perfect for her! On Sunday I was strolling through Target by myself when I looked around and realized that nearly every other shopper in the store was a parent and a child who was obviously heading off for college, shopping for dorm room stuff. Seriously, everywhere I turned I saw groups of them! It honestly made me tear up a little bit, realizing just how fast that time in life comes. I mean, I feel like it was just recently that I was shopping in the baby department at Target, but in actuality I’m closer to dorm room shopping for my oldest than I am to baby department shopping. The realization made me choke a little bit on my Starbucks and want to run home to Mak and CB and smother them in hugs and kisses and beg them not to leave me too soon. HA! It’s okay, they’re used to my random emotional tirades. Kayla, thanks for such a fun session! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
