We announced Christmas sessions last week during Hurricane Matthew, but we had no power and no internet, so nothing really made it to the blog. And honestly, even though the blog is now working again (for the time being anyway…who knows five minutes from now), we still can’t fully show you what Christmas has in store at Collin M. Smith Portrait Photography. Why? Because that sweet ol’ Matthew took out a few of our favorite trees so we can’t show you our new examples. Yet. But don’t worry, our miracle landscaper, Granger Landscapes, is ready with giant trees to plant that will make the portrait garden way better than it ever was before! I am SO Excited about what he has planned for out there! It’s going to be gorgeous! So really, we’re actually kind of thankful that Matthew took those trees. =)
The tree farm from last year will return as a set this year. Of course Buck the Truck and Shirley Bug will be included, but we have several other additions that will be added to the outdoor set that I know you will love! The sleigh will be there…a brand new barn…and even the beautiful tree swing will be all decked out in her Christmas finery! Y’all, I am SO Excited!!!
And the indoor set…LOVE. We are bringing back a favorite from five years ago, The Lights of Christmas! This set is GORGEOUS and has always been one that I adore. It looks stunning with a little girl in a very fancy Christmas dress, but it’s equally perfect for a little boy in jeans! Actually, one of my very favorite photos of Clara Beth happened when she curled up in her pink nightgown in the middle of this set while her Daddy was editing Christmas photos one night. She looked super sweet sitting there watching him so he grabbed his camera and the result is a portrait that will hang in our staircase gallery forever and ever. And there’s really nothing about it that screams Christmas. Goodness, I just can’t say enough about this set! These are old images, obviously {But sidetone, would you just look at those BABIES?! Oh My Word!!!}. New samples coming soon!
Dates for ALL sets, indoor and out, are November 2-5 and 9-12. Sessions are twenty minutes long and are by appointment only. The session fee is $45, or if you are a member of one of our Five Year portrait plans this is a FREE session for you! Specially priced portrait packages will be available for this event, as well as Christmas cards! I can’t believe it’s already this time of year again, but it also makes me happy. This time of year in the studio is my favorite, and we are really looking forward to it! Call or email soon to schedule your Christmas session! 843-665-4646 or collin@cmsmithportraits.com
Do you have any openings November 3rd(for my boys afternoon). I love your pictures with lights in the background but inside or outside pictures are fine with me.
