Well, hello there, Blog world! Long time, no see! That always happens this time of year. Things in the studio turn up to the INSANITY level and the poor old blog gets left in the dust. Hopefully as of today that will all change and we will be back on track with regular posting. Because I have a TON of beautiful people to share with you in my little corner of the internet world! How about we start with cutie-pie Dawson and his awesome big sister, Daisy? Y’all, it always blows my mind when people tell us that they’re going to bring in a dog for the newborn session and assure us that the dog will behave, and then the dog DOES behave. Maybe it’s because Collin and I can barely get our own stubborn pups to sit still for a phone picture, much less lay there while we place a baby beside them. But Daisy was perfect! She sat there like it was her job to protect her new little buddy. And sweet Dawson?!? Um, he was a dream, and I love how his newborn session turned out! Guys, we had a great time with y’all and can’t wait to see you again!
*Oh, and side note, the photos of Dawson with Daisy are composites! My arms never left the baby. Safety first, no matter how well behaved a dog is!
