Have y’all heard about the informational meeting on adoption that’s coming up in October? I’m going to copy and paste the information here so that I don’t mess anything up, but I’m so excited about this! I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about/researched/prayed about adoption or foster care before, but the amount of information out there is overwhelming! I’m looking forward to some clarification. And dessert. They say there will be dessert. =) Anyway, here it is: Ever thought of adopting but felt stumped by the unknowns? Have a friend or family member who is adopting and you want to know how to be a help to them? Considered foster care but just weren’t sure what that might look like? Wondered how you might be able to help alleviate the orphan crisis? Come for a night of answered questions and real life stories from ordinary people from the Florence area, whose lives are being forever changed by adoption. I just posted this on Facebook with a photo from Miss Tessa’s very first session with us, and it reminded me that I haven’t blogged their latest session yet. My how these three babies have changed over the years! I am not even lying when I tell you that we have been waiting the baby’s entire life to get him to smile at us. Finally, at age four, Eli decided that we were worthy of looking at and that we might even be a little bit funny! Just LOOK at that grin!! I mean, is it not the cutest?!? I’m so happy that we are finally able to get this face from Eli. And he even talked to us! Glory!! We always have so much fun when Nikki brings these three monkeys in. Not gonna lie, it’s LOUD and CRAZY…but oh so fun! This is the first year that she will have all of the little ones in school, so she wanted a school themed session. I love it! Nikki, Drake, Tessa, and Eli…can’t wait to see y’all again!
